The Cowichan Valley has a new Film Coordinator to aid in advancing the local film industry and build relationships with local stakeholders to support visiting productions.
Laura Jennifer Leppard has worked extensively in Victoria and the Cowichan Valley as a film location scout. She says encouraging film in the region can bring a number of economic benefits.
Filming locations are also paid – whether that’s a residential home, business or park.
