Charges Laid in Nanaimo Shooting

Charges have been laid in connection with the shooting in Nanaimo yesterday (Wed).
30 year old Brandon Tyler Woody, of Victoria, has been charged with one count of First Degree Murder and one count of Possessing a Firearm while prohibited to do so.
Woody has been remanded in custody until Tuesday, May 2nd.
The shooting claimed the life of a 34 year old man.
