Vancouver Island Winners for Sing Me A Song

The Lieutenant Governor of B.C. has announced theĀ 2017 winners of her community music program Sing Me a Song.
“Chances” by Stz’uminus Community school’s Grade 6 class in Ladysmith won the Enthusiasm and Spirit Award….
In the Open Category, The Gardens Choir in Qualicum Beach took the top spot.

Schools, community choirs and amateur musical groups were invited to write and sing an original song in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017.
