The province has announced the 2014 recipients of the Community Achievement Awards.
They include Carol Hunt of North Cowichan.
An independent advisory council selects the recipients from nominations received in the Fall.
They are chosen based on their significant contribution either as volunteers or in the course of their work.
The recipients will be recognized in a formal presentation at Government House in Victoria on April 29th.
Each will receive a certificate and a medallion designed by B.C. artist Robert Davidson.
