Cowichan Man Begins Cross Canada Bike Ride For Cancer

A Cowichan Valley man began his 57-hundred kilometre journey this morning across Canada on his bicycle.
Dave McKenzie is a retired Mountie who is raising awareness and money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
He hopes to raise at least 50 thousand dollars on his journey. His wife Sherry will be driving along side Dave for the entire journey, which he believes will take about 100 days.
