Panel discussions include speakers talking about the impact of the sea level rise on shoreline ecosystems and conservation values in land use planning.

Those will be taking place tomorrow (Sat) in conjunction with Cowichan’s Earth Day celebration.

Priscilla Brewer, Chair of the Regional Planning Committee says the scope of the event has expanded this year…..

The Earth Day Celebration begins at 11 tomorrow (Sat) morning in Charles Hoey Park and a number of bands will be performing.

There will also be a number of local, environmentally focused non profit organizations on site with interactive display booths.
