The Cowichan Valley Region Hospital District has quite the task ahead of them now that their expression of interest on potential hospital properties has closed.
Chair Rob Hutchins says they received far more submissions than they anticipated.
Hutchins says the technical committee, which is made up of both CVRHD staff and Island Health staff, will now evaluate the potential sites and whittle them down to a short list that could be released as early as mid- May.
