Milner Gardens and master gardeners offer free service

If you’ve seenĀ a bug on your plants, or have a plant that’s not doing what you expected, you can get some gardening advice from the Vancouver Island Master Gardeners Association and VIU’s Milner Gardens and Woodland.
Executive Director of Milner Gardens, Geoff Ball says the service, offered for the first time last year, was well received.
Ball says the two organizations have teamed up again this year to offer the free service…..

Gardeners can ask their questions in a few ways.

The can phone 250-752-0312 on Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm to speak live with a master gardener, or they can leave a message at any time and get a call back on Tuesday.

Questions can also be emailed to [email protected] and the master gardener will respond on the following Tuesday.

Samples of plans, pests and more can be dropped off at the Milner Gardens and Woodand Welcome Centre during opening hours from Saturday to Tuesday.

The Tuesday drop off has to be done before 2.
