The preliminary hearing for a North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP member facing charges in relation to a car crash back in 2012 should wrap up in a Duncan courtroom today (Thurs).
Constable Blake Cross is facing dangerous driving charges.
2 years ago in June, Cross was on his way to a call when the marked car he was in struck a car at the intersection of Trans Canada and Miller Road.
A 23 year old woman was sent to the hospital with significant injuries, and both vehicles involved in the crash were destroyed.
The Saanich police department were in charge of an independent investigation into the crash.
