Mounties in Nanaimo were called to a report of a stabbing around 7 last night.
A 38 year old man suffered life threatening multiple stab wounds and was airlifted to Vancouver General.
Police were led to a nearby townhouse where a 37 year old man was arrested for attempted murder.
He was taken into police custody without incident.
