Tiny homes not allowed

Before the hammer starts swinging on the tiny home you may want to live in you should know that, at this point, the concept is not an acceptable one in B.C.

Rachel Hastings, Senior Bylaw Officer with the Municipality of North Cowichan says they do get inquiries about tiny homes…..
Hastings says she understands people are trying to find an affordable way to live, or reduce their footprint,  and small homes on foundations would be  something the municipality could accept as long as it’s built to the B.C. Building Code.
