Crofton Revitalization Project Completed

Parts of Crofton recently went through a major make over.
The Joan Avenue revitalization project included raised and pattern intersections and Queen and King Street, additional angled parking, a replacement of underground utilities, and new street furniture and lighting.
North Cowichan Director of Engineering Dave Conway says they hope to create a fresh new place downtown that’s pedestrian friendly and gives a welcoming feel.
The project costed around 1.4 million dollars. For more on the revitalization project, check out the Crofton Revitalization (2016-17) presentation.
