Confidence Vote Looming in the Legislature

A vote that could topple the Liberal government is expected to take place in the legislature tomorrow.
The MLA for the Cowichan Valley says the actions of the BC Liberals over the past week does not inspire trust. The Liberals were outvoted on two bills in the legislature. One that would give the BC Greens party status and one that would ban union and corporate donations for political parties. Sonia Furstenau says the BC NDP have attempted to ban big money six times in the past, and the Liberals have voted against it every time.
Furstenau regards these bills as nothing but a distraction.
If the Liberal government falls, Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon could call upon Horgan to form a new government or call a new election.
