BC Hydro has contracted out the inspection of their transmission lines to Sierra Helicopters.
The company will start work this week between Duncan and Qualicum Beach.
Hydro’s Karla Louwers says they’ll be looking at the conductors, vegetation in the area and the towers in a routine pass, but at times the helicopters may seem to be flying pretty low…..
The work should be done in a month.
