Alleged drug dealers in court

One half of the father-son team suspected of dealing drugs will be in a Duncan Court today.

26-year old Derek James Grandison from Chemainus faces the charge of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

67-year old Philip Grandison, the father, from Duncan will be in West Vancouver court tomorrow to face the same charge.

The men were arrested after an investigation by the RCMP’s Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit.

It’s alleged the men were bringing drugs back and forth from the mainland to the island.
