A hit and run Sunday evening resulted in two people being arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and RCMP looking for the pedestrian who was struck.

Cpl Krista Hobday from the Duncan-North Cowichan RCMP says the man was struck just before 7:00 in front of the Save-on-Foods gas bar on Trunk Road in Duncan.

RCMP were able to find the vehicle in Chemainus with the two people from the earlier hit and run still inside.

They’re facing a number charges including possession of a stolen 2005 Audi A4.

RCMP are still looking for the man struck by the car, not only out of concern for him, but also to provide information regarding the stolen car.
