Allow extra time this long weekend

Typically during the three-day May (Victoria Day) long weekend, throughout BC an average of 1,700 crashes occur, 500 people are injured, and three people are killed due to crashes.

ICBC is teaming up with the RCMP once again to help drivers get to their long weekend destinations.

On average, 67 people are injured in 230 crashes on Vancouver Island every year over the Victoria Day long weekend.
