The Coastal Fire Centre says they will not be lifting any additional campfire bans in time for the long weekend.
Information Assistant Dorthe Jakobson says the region is going to be very warm and dry over the Labour Day weekend, so the rules stay the same.
Jakobson says it’s important that people respect the ban, and be very careful while celebrating the last long weekend of the summer.
