NDP leader visits Vancouver Island

For the second time in less than a year the leader of the federal opposition will visit Vancouver Island.

But, unlike last spring, The NDP’s Thomas Mulcair will not make a stop in the Cowichan.

Mulcair’s convoy has stops planned for Comox and Port Alberni today (Wed) and tomorrow he’ll be in Parksville and Nanaimo, before taking off for the mainland.

Last year Mulcair and his wife Catherine made a stop in Duncan to tour the Cowichan Green Community’s Community Garden with MP Jean Crowder.
