Wetland Habitat Project Aims to Help Salmon Stocks

Improving the wetland habitat for salmon and other species.
That’s the goal of the stormwater treatment project in the James and Beverly Street areas in Duncan.
Project Manager with the Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society, Elizabeth Bailey says this project will help the salmon population in Somenos Creek.
This project is a partnership between the S.M.W.S. and the Municipality of North Cowichan.
