This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock.
Spokesperson Jan Buehler says there are a number of reasons that the tour has been able to reach this milestone.
Buehler adds that the community feedback has been tremendous in the lead-up to the event.
The Tour de Rock starts Saturday in Port Alice and makes its way to Ladysmith and Chemanius on October 2, Lake Cowichan and Duncan on the 3rd, and Mill Bay and Shawnigan Lake on the 4th.
