The Country Kitchen restaurant, south of Nanaimo on the Trans Canada went up in flames early this morning (Mon).
Fire crews from Cranberry and Cedar got the call around 2 am.
When crews arrived the building was fully in flames.
They were able to contain the fire to the restaurant.
The fire is under investigation.
The restaurant had only been open since mid April.
