The difficulties of getting around the Cowichan Valley

The authors of the Cowichan Tribes Transportation and Mobility report will be on hand to talk about the document at VIU tomorrow night (Thurs).
Natalie Anderson, the Cowichan Tribes’ Referrals Coordinator, and Paul Siggers of EcoPlan International will outline the award winning study.
Anderson says the study highlights how urbanization along the river corridor has, in some cases, made it more dangerous for Cowichan families to walk or bike in the community….
The document has some action plans to make it safer….
The presentation goes at the VIU Cowichan Campus beginning at 7.
