Clocks ticking for winter tire installs

You have just a couple more days to get the winter tires on your vehicle.
Winter tires or chains are mandatory on most B.C. highways effective this Sunday.
Rob Nikirk of OK Tire on Norcross Road in the Cowichan Valley says it may not snow much on the Island, but the colder temperatures call for different tires to deal with the rain…..
Nikirk says the rush is on, but you don’t need an appointment at OK Tire to change tires.
He says there’s about an hour long wait for the job at this point.
