Boat trashed

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are investigating a Mischief to Boat that occurred sometime on the weekend of Friday, May 9th.
In an attempt to sell the vessel, the owner had parked it at the corner of Mays Road and the Trans Canada Highway with a For Sale sign on it.
However, police say a suspect, or suspects, damaged the boat extensively.
The upholstery was slashed, the toilet was smashed beyond repair and gasoline was poured throughout the interior.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen something to call.
