Duncan Skate and Bike Park: In Line for a Facelift

The Skate and B.M.X. Park adjacent to the Cowichan Aquatic Centre is the subject of a meeting on Monday night.
The park was built back in 1997 and, while it served the community well, it’s time for an upgrade.
Director of Parks and Recreation with the Municipality of North Cowichan, Ernie Mansueti says in the future, the park will serve skaters, cyclists, and those who are just starting out.

Mansueti says it’s very important that users of the park attend the meeting.

The meeting goes at the Island Savings Center’s Mesachie Room at 6 p.m. Monday, October 1.
