Acton wins Shawnigan Lake By-election

The Shawnigan Lake by-election is in the books, and Sierra Acton is the new director at the Cowichan Valley Regional District board.
The preliminary results show that Acton received approximately 70 percent of the 606 total votes.
Bill Savage and Larry Jorginson ran against Acton.
