Employers have obligations to employees who spend their workday on the road

The province and other stakeholders, like WorkSafeBC, have launched the Shift into Winter campaign.

Al Johnson, Vice President, Prevention Services with WorkSafeBC says it’s a reminder for everyone to adjust their driving for winter conditions and for employers to ensure their obligations are being met for employees who head out onto the roads…..

For those who drive for work, October, November and December are the most dangerous months.
Almost 30 per cent of all work-related crashes resulting in injury and time-loss claims happen during these three months.
