Furstenau named in lawsuit

Sonia Furstenau is being sued by the owners of the contaminated soil site at the south end of Shawnigan Lake.
Furstenau, the Green Party MLA for the Cowichan Valley, says she has legal council to defend her against the lawsuit.
The suit, filed by Cobble Hill Holding’s Michael Kelly and Martin Block alleges Furstenau participated in a speech on the lawn of the legislature back in March that injured their character, credit and reputation.
