CVRD offers activities for kids Thursday

Rotating strikes by BC’s teachers will likely continue into next week.
The BC Teachers Federation says an announcement will be made tomorrow afternoon with details.
The union says rotating strikes will be scrubbed if major progress happens at the bargaining table.
Today the rotating strikes are hitting the Ladysmith/Nanaimo school District.
Thursday teachers will be off the job in the Cowichan Valley School District.

The rolling strikes have some parents scrambling to find activities for their kids.

Denise Williams child and youth programmer with the CVRD says they will be providing options for parents on Thursday.

There is a price associated with the services, but each area will be different. Williams says they have a list of activities and prices on the CVRD website.
