Walk of Nations goes this Saturday

The 7th annual Walk of Nations goes this Saturday.
Michelle Staples with Social Planning Cowichan says more than one thousand people are expected to participate in the event.
Participants will walk from the VIU Cowichan Campus to the Si’em Lelum Gymnasium…..
The Walk of Nations was born from the 2008 North American Indigenous Games and is a celebration of culture and diversity.
Following the Walk, participants will gather at Centennial Park for an afternoon of food, music and cultural entertainment.
