A volunteer crew from the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre has installed a tugboat for the Maritime vignette at Wendy’s House.
Wendy’s House, once it opens, will be a mini town and early learning centre for kids up to the age of 6.
It’s located near the Cowichan Campus of Vancouver Island University.
Sharon McLeod is the General Manager of the Maritime Centre and says significant volunteer hours went into building the tugboat which will need a name…..
There’s no firm date yet for the opening of Wendy’s House.
