No lockdown on Chemainus First Nation

Ladysmith RCMP say rumours on social media about armed gunmen on the Chemainus First Nation are not true.
Police say they did investigate following a call but didn’t find anything.
A Facebook post Monday night alleging there were two psychopaths in the community threatening to kill people, was shared more than 100 times but was taken down.
There were also reports the community was locked down, but police say there’s nothing to substantiate the claim.
