Very good news for the Chemainus Crofton Community Schools Association.
We told you last week the organization had lost its funding from the Cowichan School District.
It meant the demise of programs like kids summer camps, early learning and nutrition programs.
The cut totaled 28 thousand dollars, or half the organizations budget.
Coordinator Wendy Lambert has met with the board and says they’ve reversed their decision….
She credits her success with the board to parents who wrote letters, sent emails and contacted board members.
She says she’s grateful for the support.
