Cowichan Lake First Nation to launch feasibility study

The Lake Cowichan First Nation is getting some provincial funding to advance their northshore development.
100,000 dollars in funding will be used to help develop feasibility studies for the construction of a marina on the north shore of the lake.
The First Nation’s operations manager, Aaron Hamilton says the study is part of a larger economic development project….
Those residential units would be for both First Nations members and non members.
Hamilton says the tiny First Nation, of 23 resident members, has been 150 per cent involved in the process to date.
