CVRD accepts ALC decision

The CVRD Board will not be appealing the decision of the Agricultural Land Commission which approved a gravel extraction and reclamation project for the Balme Ayr farm south of Duncan.

Mike Tippett, General Manager, Planning and Development with the CVRD says Balme Ayr is moving forward with their application now and has applied for a temporary use permit to process gravel…..

 

Tippett says public meetings on the permit will be advertised and are likely to be held sometime in June.
