Emergency Preparedness: The Name of the Game

Emergency coordinators are preaching preparedness.
This comes after last week’s Great B.C. Shake-Out earthquake drill.
Howie Siemens says you should pack a grab-and-go bag with supplies like medication, water, extra food and clothes in case you ever need to evacuate your home.
Siemens says there are many hazards residents should be ready for.

Siemens says it’s very important to be prepared for an emergency; adding that if you’re prepared, you’ll be able to help out your neighbours if a disaster strikes.
