Transit open houses put five routes under the microscope

BC Transit and the Cowichan Valley Regional District are looking for public feedback at five transit open houses in the Valley.
Transit spokesperson, Jonathan Dyck says a number of bus routes are under the microscope….
The engagement will also discuss potential placement of new bus stops in high density areas with the changes to be implemented in July of 2018.
The come and go style open houses will be held throughout the region beginning this Thursday.
Thursday, Oct 26 from 9:30 to 11 am at Country Grocer in Lake Cowichan, then from noon to 2 at Village Green Mall at the Transit Hub.
On Friday, Oct 27 from 10 to noon at 49th Parallel Store in Chemainus and again at the Druncan Train Station in Charles Hoey Park from 1:30 to 3 and lastly, on Saturday from 10 to noon at Walmart’s lottery entrance.
