Police looking for stolen propane tanks

If you are offered a deal on the purchase of a 33 pound propane tank it might be a good idea to call the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
The tank could be related to a theft from the Island Savings Centre that happened 3 weeks ago.
Police says the suspects, believed to be operating an imported mini van, possibly an older grey or blue Honda Odyssey, broke into a locked cage and made off with 48 hundred dollars worth of propane tanks.
The 12 tanks are owned by Superior Propane but leased by the Island Savings Centre to fuel the zamboni.
Police believe the suspects may be trying to sell the tanks and anyone who might have information about them is asked to call.
