A 90 foot wooden vessel built in 1918, named the Anapaya (ana-pay-yah) has sunk, leaking fuel in the Ladysmith Harbour.

Garneau says later this year the Liberals will introduce legislation dealing with vessels of concern and told the House of Commons, with that, the government has the waterfront covered.
