Duncan Product: Looking to Earn Spot with Team Canada

Duncan’s Matt Ellison is on Hockey Canada preliminary roster ahead of the Olympics in February.
He’s playing for Magnitogorsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.
He played 180 games with the Cowichan Valley Capitals and was a 40-goal scorer with the Red Deer Rebels in 2002-03. The Rebels lost to the Kelowna Rockets in the W.H.L. Championship that year.
Ellison played 43 games in the National Hockey League with the Chicago Blackhawks (41) and Philadelphia Flyers (2) and is one of three B.C. boys on the roster.
The 2018 Winter Olympics are in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
