Planning for Hometown Hockey’s Visit to Cowichan Valley Underway

Hometown Hockey is coming to the Cowichan Valley on January 20 and 21 and the wheels are already in motion preparing.
Canadian broadcasting icon, Ron MacLean and Tara Slone are the hosts of the two-day event and it features hockey stories from the Cowichan Valley and the game between the Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, January 21.
Ernie Mansueti is the Director of Parks and Recreation with the Municipality of North Cowichan and he says it will be an action-packed weekend.
Mansueti says minor hockey players and teams will enjoy a once in a lifetime experience.

The B.C. Summer Games is going to have a booth at the event and organizers will be looking for volunteers.
Planning for Hometown Hockey is a month in.
