Island Health has issued a public advisory after an increase in overdoses in Victoria and Campbell River.
The spike in overdoses began over the last 24 hour period.
Island Health says users should fix with a friend, or if they are using along go to an Overdose Prevention Site, carry Naloxone and have an overdose response plan.
If you see someone who is experiencing an overdose, call 911.
