The body of the missing 73 year old Nanaimo woman has been found.
Faye Hanson had left her home in Nanaimo last Sunday afternoon to go for a hike.
Her truck was located at Timberlands Road and Ninatti Road, about halfway between Nanaimo and Ladysmith on the west side of the TransCanada highway, a day later.
SAR and RCMP had been looking for Hanson ever since.
The BC Coroners Service is now in charge of the investigation.

Foul play is not suspected in Hanson’s death.
