Weather records fall – flurries coming

There was a round of weather records broken over the weekend as a result of unseasonably warm weather over parts of B.C.

Environment Canada is reporting, on Sunday, the mercury hit 17 in the Malahat region, breaking the record of 16 set back in 1987.

Other records were broken in Campbell River, Victoria, and on the south mainland.

There is rain in the forecast for the Cowichan Valley by midweek and the mercury is expected to dip down to minus 2 with a chance of flurries on Saturday.
