Person overboard found clinging to a life ring

A person, who had gone overboard, from a ferry late yesterday (Mon) afternoon was found about five hours later.
Lieutenant Navy Melissa Kia, of Navy Public Affairs, says the BC Ferry, Queen of Cowichan reported someone went overboard around 5:45….
Two BC Ferries, the Coast Guard Hovercraft, a helicopter from CFB Comox and vessels from Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue were involved in the search.

The incident has been turned over to the RCMP for investigation.
