The Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association recently received a grant of $27,693 dollars.
The money comes from the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and the Canadian Paralympic Committee.
C.T.R.A. Development Officer, Jennifer Barnes van Elk says this funding promotes accessibility to sports and recreation programs.

The program offers riding and adapted equestrian programs to kids with special needs and Barnes van Elk says there are many options for association members.
