Province looks to replace lost revenue from reduction in MSP premiums

Finance Minister Carole James has established a task force to look at the best approach to replacing the revenue from eliminating MSP premiums.
Its final report is due by March 31st of 2018.
MSP premiums are already set to go down by 50 per cent on January 1st.
The Task Force would look at replacing the balance of the premiums over a four year period.
