Our first snow of the season wasn’t much but caused some problems overnight on the Malahat.
It was closed for about half an hour just after midnight as a result of multiple vehicle accidents, limited visibility and heavy snowfall.
Commercial trucks were required to chain up as well.
It was smooth sailing by this morning (Fri).
