If snow and ice conditions make travel on local roads unsafe, Cowichan Valley Transit routes will operate on Winter Routing.
Erin Annis is a Transit Analyst with the Cowichan Valley Regional District and says for updates, prior to catching the bus, riders can take some steps to ensure their route is running as planned.
Annis adds that the Cowichan Valley Regional District says some routes may go to winter routing if the roads are not plowed or too icy.
